The Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr. Paul Acquah, has said that the electronic payment system being introduced will mark a major transformation in the financial and payment systems of the country.

The Bank of Ghana has asked all banks including rural banks in the country to integrate all existing switches into the national switch (EZWICH) by the end of the first half of this year.
